K-mazing race!

A few weeks ago, the Pennsylvania Circle K District held its summer board meeting in conjunction with the PA Key Club summer board meeting! The boards took some time out of their busy schedules to get together with their board buddies!
The PACK Kiwanis Family committee paired each Circle K board member with two or three Key Club board members. The majority of the board buddies are paired geographically so that they can work together throughout the year to plan K-family events in their area! But even if the buddies are not in the same part of PA, they can use each other as a source of advice and assistance!
But in order for the board buddies to get to know each other, the groups participated in the K-MAZING RACE! Taking the idea from CKI's LSSP, each group of board buddies was given a clue to a location in the hotel and they had to find that location and take a picture there in order to get the next clue from the Key Club and Circle K Governors!
Everyone had a LOT of fun running through the hotel and taking silly pictures with each other! The K-Mazing Race was a great way for the board buddies to break the ice and overcome the awkward feeling when first talking to their board buddy. After the race, the board buddies were able to sit down and talk about the Kiwanis Family and how they can work together!
If you would like help setting up your own K-Mazing race feel free to email Key Club Ambassador Katie at governor@pacirclek.org!
